YWAM changes!!! They are good!!! :)

So, things change. While preparing my heart for YWAM I was struck with a continuous question mark In my mind. When it was voice by a few of my friends and family members I started really considering what was going on.

I have always had the gifting and personality of leader and "mama" anytime I'm in a group of people. I sooo love this position, but I believe that what I'm needing right now is an opportunity to grow and become a stronger follower of Jesus Christ. I would also love to grow in my leadership and "mama-ship" skills and abilities. 

No I know I would grow in the regular DPS program, when I learned about a version for the "older" age group I really became excited. I believe this will be huge for my life and I am so ready to be the "kid" on the team. Even though as my sister pointed out I will still be leading because that's who I am. 

Do to this change, all my donations from the Reading location will not be transferred to the Chico base in Chico California where God willing I will start my training in September 3.

DTS donations! And new base locations!!!

Hello everyone, 

After lots of prayer and consideration, I decided to switch my DTS to a different base. This base has a DTS is for an older age group. This will give me an opportunity to grow and be stretched and step out of my comfort zone. 

Due to the switch of bases online donations do not go to the correct spot. At this time please do not submit an online donation. If you have already submitted an online donation it will be refunded directly to me, and I will send it into the new location. The new location that I am going to Chico California.

Through Christ Jesus, the law of the spirit of life set us free from the law of sin and death! Romans 8:2

Be a risk taker. Be authentic. Be in the world and bring transformation. Don’t do the “safe” thing. 

You cannot avoid risk.  Living is risky.  Loving is a risky.  Life is risky, life is terminal. Death is the ultimate statistic. One out of one, we all die.  There should be nothing risk averse to a Christian life. We have nothing to fear. It is for freedom that Christ set us free. We don’t get through life safely just to fall into death safely. We beg God for signs and miracles. There’s no need in our safe little world where God needs to do a miracle. Let’s walk across the street to the place where God is allowed to perform miracles. There is a world of people around us who are enslaved. On our watch, as we sit in our safe little Churches with walls built up to keep us safe, there are over 27 million slaves struggling to survive. ON OUR WATCH. What are we doing? Where is the salt? Where is the light? Where is the justice? 

Are we afraid of those people on the outside interrupting our little safe worlds. What do we have to fear? What can man do to us? Church has confused compassion with emotion.  I don’t care if you can cry during the motivational story. Get out, roll your sleeves up and lets get to work. 

We have not been created a product of time but of eternity.  The life we are living right now is not practice. It’s the real thing. It’s the only life you have to live on this earth.  How are you making a difference? How are you effecting the eternity? Are you planting seeds? Are you willing to put your life on the line for one more person to find Christ? Are you willing to give it all? HE did. He gave it all.  

We separate ourselves from the world under the “Be in the world but not of it.” How do you translate that? We view ourselves as “holy” “set apart” because we don’t slap our bodies with tattoos and piercings. (well, maybe you don’t J) But our gossip track and rumor mill is running full throttle.  We are hurting people left and right but somehow we have found an excuse for our actions.  We have flip this scripture upside down and become apart of the world but its “ok” because we aren’t living in it. Oooops. That’s no good. 

I don’t want to be apart of this world. But I know that I have been sent into this world to be a life witness of the Holy Father.  I have been set apart and I have been created to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ.  I have been redeemed and created brand new and I am being sent to bring this freedom and redemption to others.

Let your YES be so compleate you don't have to say NO.

Awake, Awake,

Awake my heart,

Awake my soul,

Let the spirit of God take control.

Let His love fill me till it overflows

Like a flood, like a wave I cannot escape.

Don’t let me escape , don’t even let me breath,

Without knowing that breath is breathed in you.

Flood my veins, flood my heart, flood my soul.

Deeper and deeper.

Let your love overflow.

This is my prayer. This is my heart. A deeper relationship with my Abba, my Papa, my Daddy!  I want to feel the love and hear the voice. I want to fully surrender and when I have surrendered it all, I WANT TO GIVE MORE.  I want to go deeper and fall more in love with my Jesus. I lay it all down.  My  hopes and my dreams.  My desires are nothing without His promises. 

Empty words falling on closed ears that will never be heard. Let the deaf hear with the Words that can only be carried within the power of the creators spoken breath. Words of Truth spoken with an ever real voice carried across the ages.  Words from a Father, spoken to a son and daughter. The Power of the Calling you are led into.  

Many are CALLED, few are CHOSEN…(few RESPOND)! Matthew 22:14

Have you been called by God for something bigger? Has He asked you to take a step and go deeper?  What did you say?? How did your respond?? Did you choice to say YES? Did you give it all? Or did you just give that old 10%?

Where would you be right now if God had chosen just to give you His 10%??? Think about it? 

Make your YES so complete that you don’t have to say NO!

God may have you in the desert right now. He may have led you to a place where all you can see is the dry and cracking ground.  You might be so thirsty and crying out for your direction and wisdom and feel like you are screaming to deaf ears.  You might be blaming God for the situation you are in right now.  You might be at the point where you feel that you have nothing left and yet God is still demanding more.  

Then it’s time. Time to go deeper. Let the rawness of yourself be uncovered and laid at the foot of the cross. When you can’t go deeper on your own let Jesus go deeper for you. Let Him lead you into the depth of your soul where His soul is residing. It’s time for that relationship to get deeper and stronger.  

With the realization that after the desert there will be a promotion within the army of God as well as a deeper relationship with Him, we can crawl through the dessert season on our knees thanking God for the strength He is building in us for the things only He can see coming. 

Don’t believe the lie that you are all on your own! Don’t be afraid of the deep relationships in your life that, not only give you community, but will also carry you to Christ when you can’t carry yourself.

God has given you a gift and He has given you a passion.  Believe in the gifts He has given you!  You don’t just from step B to step T in a space of a week.  Life takes time! Embrace the season you are in right now. Treasure the training and He has for you right now. It will prepare you step by step, season by season.  

God wants to see you succeed! 

Our ways are not His ways, and our time is not His time! Don’t stress it, and don’t fight against it. He is in control and He will lead you. Don’t get paralyzed with the should I? shouldn’t I?’s  Take a step and go for it. Don’t forget the power of looking back! You can always make corrections! 

Don’t be afraid to give it ALL and then give MORE.

YWAM DTS Pray for me!

Dear people,

As a child I gave my life to the service of Christ, by the time I get to heaven, I might have an idea of what that meant. But right now all I know is the immediate call He has placed on my heart. I know that He has given me the gift of Mercy and I would be fool to walk away from His mission in Jonah style fashion.

He has taught me to love. Not just the people in my life at this current moment, but to go out and find those who need His love the most. To the orphans, the widows, the tired, the weak, the abused, and burned out souls who God has not forgotten nor does He want us to forget. He has placed in me a love to see them hope again. He has given me HUGE passion in this area of ministry. I serve an Awesome GOD!

I will be leaving in September for a Discipleship training school through Youth with a Mission my focus in Compassion.  My base will be out of Redding California. After two and a half months of state side training we will be headed out to an outreach location in North Africa, South-East Asia or the Middle East. The outreach faze of this training is also about two and a half months.  

During this journey, I will be needing your prayers.  If you have a desire to come along through my updates and pictures, please let me know so that I can get you connected and keep you informed of what’s happening as well as ways you can pray.
